Obviously a tech saavy crowd, but I found this conversation on reddit made me reflective on business growth, and the kind of role people like myself play in job loss through automation.
tl;dr - IMO we don't refactor the small ends of our supply chains to make them robust and useful; but instead throw big money at a large pit when it's too late to stop things; and suffer hard transitions.
