Don't have an invite? Don't worry, open source has you covered with Oscar, a Raspberry Pi and commodity USB Barcode scanners. I've had a go at setting it up, and it's passed the wife test with flying colours.
With Amazon Dash, I like the voice component so it'd be interesting to use the voice API to add in items to Trello/etc.
